Wonderful Danish artist who lives in Greenland.  Seemingly simple drawings that exude the essence of the country.

Eric the Red saga in Greenland.  Apparently "discovered" Greenland and was also the first white person to step foot on North America, NOT, I repeat NOT Christopher Columbus.

Fell in love with this little cat peeking out of the window.  Love the colours of the cottage.

 After hours of arduous hiking over uneven ground, steep hills, knee-high shrubs that resisted our every step, unstable boulders underfoot, we finally saw our palace for the night.  A tiny red hut that took another two hours to reach from where this photograph was taken. The hut was cold and dusty with a flat board on which three or four people in sleeping bags could lie.  We were in heaven!
